Students got to meet and greet some professional players who have played around the world, they were also able to ask questions about how to get to the top league and what it takes.

The event consisted of lots of free give a ways for the students which also included a free kit for the girls/boys team to play in all year!

It was an amazing experience for them the meet people that they watch on television.

Harris Academy St. John's Wood was drafted as the Oklahoma thunder NBA team.

U12 Boys are having a great season so far. They are 2nd in the Greenhouse league and also 2nd in the Junior NBA League.

Our recent success was on Wednesday 14th March 2018 when we travelled to Pimlico.  Our first game was against Pimlico and we won 18-6 it was a good team effort and Jamal top scored with 12 of our 18 points!


Our second game was against Maria FCC which was a very close and we won 5-4 with Jamal scoring the final basket with seconds to go to put us up by 1 point. 


Top 3 teams go through to the playoff stage in the Jr NBA and we sitting in 2nd place at the moment.

Harris Academy St John’s girls Jr NBA team are off to a great start this season winning 3 out of 4 games. Their most recent wins were today 21/03/18 winning 16-14 vs Capital City Academy and then 19-14 vs Bentley Wood School. 


Vardell played amazing in both games and deserves MVP and an honourable mention to Marwa and Mellisa for their Defence and team play
