Harris Academy St. John's Wood Sports Day 2018

We are delighted to announce that the HASJW Sports Day will be held on Monday 18th June at Paddington Recreation Ground. Students must make their own way to Paddington Recreation Ground to be registered at 8:40am. Students are not to come to school first. Students arriving after 8:40am will be deemed late.

Students must wear their normal HASJW PE kit to sports day and are advised to bring a waterproof jacket in case of bad weather. Students failing to wear the correct uniform will be taken to school with a designated member of staff to complete written tasks. Students need to bring water, a packed lunch (the school will provide a packed lunch for those students who are normally entitled to free school meals), sun cream and a hat. I would like to remind students to follow the instructions of all staff during Sports Day.

Sports Day will end at approximately 3:20pm and students will be dismissed from Paddington Recreation Ground at this time following their final event. In the event of bad weather, a normal school day will resume where students will be escorted back to Harris Academy and will continue their normal Monday lessons. As your son/daughter is not required to bring their full formal uniform they will be no sanctions for not having it if a normal school day resumes. As Parents/carers you are invited to come along and support your child. We hope that many of you will join us and help make this a special event.

Should you wish to discuss this or any matter please do not hesitate to contact the PE Department.
